Rajiv Jain
Chief Investment Officer, Executive Chairman and Executive Director
Mr. Jain is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of GQG Partners and serves as a Portfolio Manager for all of the firm’s public equity investment strategies. Since its founding in 2016, Mr. Jain has grown firm assets to more than $150 billion. He commenced investment operations at GQG Partners in June 2016 and has over 30 years of investment experience. Previously, Mr. Jain served as a Co-Chief Executive Officer (from July 2014) and Chief Investment Officer and Head of Equities (from February 2002) at Vontobel Asset Management. He was the sole Portfolio Manager of the International Equities strategy (since 2002) and Emerging Markets Equities strategy (since 1997) and the lead Portfolio Manager for the Global Equities strategy (since 2002). Mr. Jain helped build the business from less than US$400 million under management to just under US$50 billion in 2016. He joined Vontobel Asset Management as a Co-Portfolio Manager of Emerging Markets Equities and International Equities in November 1994. Prior to that, he was an International Equity Analyst at Swiss Bank Corporation.

Mr. Carver is the Chief Executive Officer of GQG Partners. He is responsible for firm leadership and management of the firm’s business functions. Before he joined GQG Partners, Mr. Carver co-founded Northern Lights Capital Group (now Pacific Current Group, listed on the ASX) and was central to building that business, eventually serving as a board member and CEO. Throughout his tenure at Northern Lights, Mr. Carver served on several boutique investment firm boards, including Aperio Group, ROC Partners, and Goodhart Partners. Prior to co-founding Northern Lights, Mr. Carver was a co-founder of Orca Bay Partners, a private equity firm where he developed a practice area focused on capitalizing boutique investment firms. There, he led investments in a variety of firms including Parametric Portfolio Associates and Envestnet (NYSE:SNV). Mr. Carver began his career at Morgan Stanley in their New York Analyst Program and graduated with honors from Harvard College.

Ms. Zakaluk is Chief Financial Officer for GQG Partners. She is responsible for managing the firm’s finance and operational functions and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before she joined GQG Partners, Ms. Zakaluk served as Chief Operating Officer at Rainier Investment Management where she provided daily and strategic management of the firm’s advisory and mutual fund platforms. She was also a member of Rainier’s corporate board and a management trustee for the Rainier Funds’ board. During her tenure at Russell Investments, she held the role of Managing Director focused on leading the daily operations, compliance monitoring, distributor servicing, and information management for internal and external customers. Ms. Zakaluk earned a BS in Accounting from Boston College. She holds the CPA designation, as well as the Series 7, 24, 27, and 63 licenses.

He has held senior roles at ESAE Capital Partners and Goldman Sachs. Mr. Falck earned a BA in Business, Economics and Law from the University of Zurich and an MBA from New York University.

Before he joined the firm, Mr. DiGangi, served as Chief Compliance Officer at UBS O’Connor LLC, where he was responsible for leading the global compliance program for a multi-strategy hedge fund manager. Mr. DiGangi held various senior compliance roles at Salomon Brothers Asset Management and Voya Investment Management (ING) where he worked for 13 years. He began his career in compliance at J. & W. Seligman & Co. Inc. in 1996. Mr. DiGangi earned his AA from the State University of New York at Delhi.

Prior to that, he served as General Counsel and Secretary at Rainier Investment Management, Counsel at Dechert LLP, and Assistant General Counsel at Bank of America Corporation. Mr. Sherley began his career as an associate at Seward & Kissel LLP. Mr. Sherley earned his JD with high honors from Duke University School of Law and his BA summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Barker leads the firm’s international business and our new office in Abu Dhabi Global Markets where he serves as our Senior Executive Officer. He has over 38 years of experience in the Asset Management industry. Prior to joining GQG Partners, Mr. Barker served as Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of Strategic Capital Investments, a boutique investment company that he founded. There he focused on providing acceleration capital to early stage asset management companies. Prior to founding Strategic Capital Investors, he was a Founding Partner of Hermes BPK Partners where he also served as Chief Investment Officer. Previously, Mr. Barker was Co-Chief Investment Officer at Pioneer Alternative Investments following its purchase of Momentum Asset Management, where he was a Board Director and Portfolio Manager. While at Momentum Asset Management, he was also responsible for asset allocation and business development.

Ms. Blanchfield is the Managing Director and Head of Human Capital for GQG Partners. She oversees the full employment lifecycle from recruiting, development, careers, compensation, to HR. She is focused on the strategies and programs to strengthen company culture and employee engagement. Ms. Blanchfield has several years of experience leading positive organizational change. Before she joined GQG, she spent over 20 years at Point B., Inc, a nationally recognized management consulting firm, voted a Best Places to Work, serving in roles progressing from Firmwide Recruiting Director, Compensation Director, DEI Director, to Chief People Officer and Chief Operations Officer. Before that, Ms. Blanchfield was a Manager for Accenture in the supply chain practice. Ms. Blanchfield earned her BA in International Studies from the University of Washington. Her written work has been published in the society for Human Resource Management and Consulting Magazine. She has been a panelist and speaker on several DEI panels and committees and is fluent in Korean.

Mr. Mullane is the Managing Director of Investment Initiatives for GQG Partners. He joined the team with over 25 years of experience in alternative investing. During that time Mr. Mullane and his teams have built and grown a variety of alternatives businesses. Within those businesses, Mr. Mullane’s focus has been on a combination of manager selection, product development and fundraising. Most recently he was a partner at Falls Bridge Capital where he sourced and worked with a number of alternative investment managers on asset raising strategies. Before that he was Head of Balyasny Asset Management’s Client Relationship Group. Prior to that Mr. Mullane spent 10 years at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director and Head of XIG Client Portfolio Solutions. XIG, (formerly AIMS) is the group within Goldman Sachs that provides its institutional and private clients with access to external alternative managers. Mr. Mullane began his career at HSBC in 1996 where he worked in London, New York, and Geneva. Mr. Mullane has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick and is a CFA Charterholder.

Gary J. Bachman
Managing Director, Strategic Initiatives
Gary joined GQG in January of 2021. As Managing Director, Strategic Initiatives, Gary provides oversight of GQG’s key strategic initiatives. Prior to joining GQG, Gary was the Chief Operating Officer of Pzena Investment Management from July 2016 to March 2020. He previously served as Pzena’s Chief Financial Officer from September 2012 through July 2016. Prior to joining Pzena Investment Management, Gary served in senior finance and accounting roles at JP Morgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, and Goldman Sachs. Gary received his B.S. from Binghamton University in 1990 and an M.B.A. from Fordham University in 1997. Gary is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board Small Business Advisory Committee.
